How to download albums using Google Photos?

Google Photos, a very popular and amazing service from Google allows users to backup and store their photos and videos in the cloud. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to download photos and videos from an album in Google Photos, follow the step by step process given below:
  1. Download your own albums (for people having a Google account).
  2. Go to https://photos.google.com or https://photos.google.com/albums and sign into your Google account.
  3. In  https://photos.google.com you can click the Albums icon at the left.
  4. Open the album by left-clicking on the album you want to download.
  5. Click the "three dots" (More options) icon at the top-right.
  6. Click "Download all".
  7. All files in the album will be downloaded in a zip file.
  8. When a photo is edited in Google Photos only an edited copy is downloaded.
  9. After downloading the .zip file your browser prompts you to save the .zip file. You can also rename the zip at this time.
  10. Click "Save" and specify a location to download.
  11. Unzip the zip file.
  12. In Windows Explorer, right-click the zip file, click "Extract All" then "Extract". 
  13. When unzipping is finished, you may delete the zip file.
