How to create albums in Google Photos with new uploads?

There are two ways to create Google Photos album i.e. one with the photos which are already uploaded to Google Photos and the other which are yet to be uploaded. If you are looking for a process to create Google Photos album with the photos still to upload, follow the process below:
  1. Manually upload by clicking the "Upload photos" icon (a gray cloud with up arrow) at Google Photos 
  2. OR drag & drop files from your computer into the Google Photos webpage
  3. In the pop-up in the lower left corner, click "Add to Album"
  4. In the "Add to" window that opens, click "New album"
  5. Begin typing a new title and "Untitled" at the top will disappear and be replaced by a new title
  6. Click the check mark in the upper left corner when you are done
  7. Click the left arrow to get back to your photo collection
  8. To view your albums, go here: https://photos.google.com/albums
