How to Backup Photos from OneDrive to SmugMug on Android?

SkyDrive or OneDrive is a famous online cloud backup service which allows you to backup photos, videos and important files to access them from anywhere on any other device. OneDrive has a 'Album Cover Customization' feature that allows you to set a static cover photo to the folder. OneDrive automatically creates rotating covers for your folders to give you a peak at the photos inside. You can set the folder cover by selecting the photo which you want. To set folder cover photo, click "Manage" and then select "Add as cover" option.

Following are the steps to Backup Photos from OneDrive to SmugMug on Android:


  1. Go to http://www.smugmug.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Download "SmugMug App" on your Android phone from the Play store & launch it.
  3. Go to https://onedrive.live.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  4. Download "OneDrive App" on your Android phone from the Play store & launch it.
  5. Open OneDrive App on your Android phone.
  6. You will see all your photos & videos.
  7. Tap or long press your photos which you want to backup.
  8. Tap "Share" icon located at the bottom of the screen.
  9. You will see list of applications. Select "SmugMug Upload" option.
  10. Tap "Change Settings" button located at the bottom left corner on the screen.
  11. Select the gallery to upload photos, add caption, keywords and set privacy settings.
  12. Tap "Save" button.
  13. Tap "Upload All" button located at the bottom right corner on the screen.
  14. All your photos will now be uploaded to Smugmug.
