How to Allow Other People to Add Photos to Your Shared Photo Streams?

iCloud has a 'Photo Stream' feature which allows you to share photos with other people. You can create your photo stream and others can join it, view it, comment on it and like any photos that you add. You can easily allow other people to add photos to your shared photo streams. But it has to be your own stream, not a stream that was shared with you. To allows other people to add photos, you just need to turn ON 'Subscribers Can Post' on your album which you would like to allow others to add photos.

Here are the steps to Allow Other People to Add Photos to Your Shared Photo Streams on iOS:

  1. Open "Photos" app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap "Shared" tab located at the bottom on the screen.
  3. Tap "Sharing" button located at the top left corner on the screen.
  4. You will see the main list of shared Photo Streams.
  5. Tap on the album which you would like to allows others to add photos.
  6. Tap "People" button located at the bottom on the screen.
  7. Move the slider from left to right to turn ON "Subscribers Can Post" option.
