How to Add, remove or rearrange photos in iPhoto?

iPhoto allows you to create an empty album or containing selected photos or from an entire event or from a folder of photos outside iPhoto. You can easily add photos to an album, remove photos from an album or rearrange photos in an album.

To add photos to an album, you can drag the photos to the album's icon in the 'Source List'. You have another option to add the photos to an album i.e. select the photos and click 'Add To' button. A pop-up menu opens up. Choose album and then click the album where you want to add the photos. iPhoto allows you to add photos from other albums, entire events or photos within one or more events.

Unlike add photos, you can remove photos from an album with simple steps. There are several options available to remove the photos from iPhoto. First option is, select the photos which you want to remove and press the 'Delete' key or drag them into a 'Trash' icon located at the 'Source List'. Another option is, move you pointer over the photo to make the down arrow appear and click the arrow. Choose 'Remove' option from an album.

You can easily rearrange the photos in an iPhoto album. To rearrange the photos in an album, simply drag the photos into the order which you want. iPhoto also allows you to sort your photos by date, title, rating, keyword. To sort photos, either you can choose 'View' and then 'Sort Photos' or Sort option from the sub-menu.
