What are Instagram Photo Maps?

When you re-visit a place it lets you rediscover old Instagrammed memories. You can edit your photo map as and when required. Instagram photo maps is an all new way for everyone to view Instagram Photos.
You must be wondering how it works. Well, when you snap a picture while connected to a Wi-Fi or a 3G mobile network, your phone logs the co-ordinates where it was taken. Using that information, you can then add a photo to a photo map. It a unique and fun way to add photos to your Photo Map, document travels and see photos of other Instagrammers who have been to that place or to a nearby location.
