How to Turn ON Google Drive Auto Backup on iOS?

Google Drive has a Auto Backup feature on iOS device which allows you to automatically backup photos and videos across your Google account. If you turned ON Auto Backup and decide to delete the Google Drive app, then you will have yo manually turn ON Auto Backup in other apps to continue using the feature. If you turned it ON in other apps, then you will need to switch it off in every app.

Following are the steps to Turn ON Google Drive Auto Backup on iOS app:

  1. Download "Google Drive" app on your iOS device from the Apple App store & launch it.
  2. Open "Google Drive" app on your device.
  3. Tap "Menu" icon located at the top left corner on the screen.
  4. Tap "Settings" icon.
  5. Tap "Auto Backup".
  6. Tap "Auto Backup" and move slider from left to right to turn ON Auto Backup.
  7. All your photos and videos will now be automatically backed up across your Google Account.
