How to Transfer Photos from Picasa to Photobucket?

You can not directly transfer your photos from Picasa to Photobucket. If you want to transfer Picasa photos to Photobucket, then you can export your photos using Picasa Desktop Application and import them to Photobucket using Bulk Upload Tool. Export Picasa Photos:


  1. Download "Picasa Desktop Application" on your computer & launch it.
  2. Open "Picasa" and select the photo album.
  3. Hold down your"Ctrl" key and click photos which you want to transfer to Photobucket. Press "Ctrl-A" to select all photos.
  4. Click "Export" button located at the bottom of the page.
  5. If you want to export original photos to Photobucket, then click "Original Size". Otherwise, click "Resize to" and type a value in the Pixel field.
  6. Click "Browser" and double-click the folder where you want to save the photos.
  7. Click "Ok" and select "Export" button.
  8. Locate "Export Location" text box located at the top of the Export to Folder window.
  9. Note the folder path that appears in that text box.

Import Photos to Photobucket:


  1. Launch "Photobucket" and log in to your account.
  2. Click "Upload" button.
  3. Select "Bulk Uploader" option.
  4. Browse and locate the folder containing your Picasa photos in the "Choose a Folder" panel.
  5. You will see those photos as thumbnails.
  6. Click "Select All" to select all the photos.
  7. If you want to upload only few photos, then select them and click "Upload" button.
  8. This is how you can transfer photos from Picasa to Photobucket.
