If you want to stop sharing a photo album, then delete it. When you delete a shared album, it is immediately removed from your subscriber's devices. You should alert your subscriber to save the photos and videos before you delete the shared album.

Following are the steps to Stop Sharing an album on Mac:

  1. Open "Photos" app on your Mac.
  2. Click "Shared" located at the toolbar.
  3. You will see 2 options to stop sharing an album.
    a) Select the shared album which you want to stop sharing, then click "Command-Delete".
    b) Double-click a shared album and click "Collaborate" button located at the toolbar and then click "Delete Shared Album".
  4. Select any one of the above 2 options.
