How to Setup iCloud Photo Library on Mac or PC?

iCloud Photo Library is available with Yosemite 10.10.3 and later version. If you want to setup an iCloud Photo Library on Mac or PC, you need to turn it oN on your Mac or PC. There are two ways to turn it ON on your Mac. One way is, go to "System Preferences" on your Mac and click "iCloud". Click "Options" button located next to "Photos" app, then select "iCloud Photo Library". Another way is, turn ON iCloud Photo Library using 'Photos' app on OS X.

Here are the steps to Enable iCloud Photo Library using Photos for OS X:

  1. Open "Photos" app on your Mac.
  2. Tap "Photos" from menu bar.
  3. Select "Preferences" option.
  4. Click "iCloud" tab.
  5. Check mark the "iCloud Photo Library" option.
  6. When you enable "iCloud Photo Library" on Mac, it will start uploading all of your photos stored in the "Photos" app to iCloud.
