How to Restore a Photo that is Hidden in Dropbox Carousel?

You can hide an individual photo from the Carousel iOS app or Android app, but you can not hide folders from the Carousel iOS app or Android app. You can easily restore your photo that you have hidden in Dropbox Carousel. Any photos and videos you have hidden using Carousel are stored in the "Hidden Photos & Videos" section of the Settings menu. You can restore your photo anytime when you want.

Here are the steps to Restore a Photo that is Hidden in Dropbox Carousel:

  1. Go to https://carousel.dropbox.com/app/timeline & sign in to your account.
  2. Download & install "Carousel by Dropbox" app on your phone from the Play store.
  3. Tap your "Profile" picture located at the top left corner.
  4. Select "Hidden Photos & Videos" option.
  5. Tap the check box located at the upper right-hand corner to enter selection mode.
  6. Select the photos you would like to restore. (The check box on the photos will turn blue when photos are selected.)
  7. Tap "Restore" button located at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Your photos will now be added back to your Carousel.
