How to Move your OneDrive Pictures to Google Photos?

OneDrive is a best cloud storage service to backup photos and videos online. But if you want keep another backup of your photos then Google Photos is the right choice. Google Photos is a solution as a backup of your most important photos and memories. To move your OneDrive pictures to Google Photos, first download photos from OneDrive to Computer and then upload photos to Google Photos from computer.

Download Photos from OneDrive to Computer:

1. Download and install "OneDrive Desktop Application" on your computer.
2. Enter email address and password to sign in to your account.
3. During setup, you will get a pop up window of "Sync only what you want".
4. Select "Choose folders to sync".
5. Check the box next to "Pictures" and any other folders with photos.
6. Click "Done" button.
7. All your OneDrive photos will now be downloaded to computer.

Upload Photos from Computer to Google Photos:

1. Go to https://photos.google.com/apps & download "Google Photos Desktop Uploader" on your computer.
2. Install "Google Photos Desktop Uploader" on your computer.
3. Sign in to your Google account.
4. Uncheck any unwanted desktop folders and click "Add..." button. (Instead select the Photo and Video folders in the OneDrive file)
5. Choose a photo size i.e "High quality" or "Original".
6. Click "Start Backup" button.
7. Click "Ok" button.
8. This is how you can move your OneDrive photos to Google Photos.
