How to Move Photos from Instagram to Google Drive on Mac?
Last Updated :
Google Drive is a cloud storage service used to backup photos, videos, files and other documents. You can access those photos and videos from anywhere on any device with an Internet connection. If you want to move photos from Instagram to Google Drive on a Mac machine, then you need to first download photos from Instagram on your Mac and then upload them to your Google Drive account. Once you have downloaded photos to Mac, you can either upload photos to Google Drive via 'drag-and-drop' feature or upload them manually to your Google Drive account.
Here are the steps to Move Photos from Instagram to Google Drive on Mac:
Go to http://instagram.com/ & sign in to your account.
You will see all your photos & videos.
Right-click the photo that you want to download.
Select "Inspect Element" option.
You will see the link to download that photo. Right-click the link and select "Edit as HTML" option.
You will see the URL. Select the URL from 'http:// to .jpg'.
Right-click the URL and select "Copy" option.
Copy the link & open it in your new tab.
Right-click the photo & select "Save Image As" option.
A pop-up window opens up. You will see "Export As" option.
Rename the photo and click "Save" button.
This way your photo will be downloaded to Mac.
Go to https://drive.google.com & sign in to your account.
Click "Create" button located on the left side & select "Folder" option. Specify a folder name for your photo album.
Click on the folder you created.
To upload photos to this folder, click "Upload" button located next to the create button.
Select "File" option.
A "File upload" window opens up. Navigate & select the photos that you want to upload.
Once your photos are successfully uploaded, you will be prompted with a message that says "Upload complete".
You have another option to upload the photos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your photos directly from your Mac to a location in your Google Drive.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and
efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job
of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot
of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different
places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out
there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so
much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked -
all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the
process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was
a breeze. Thank you!

I started with the basic plan, went to premium and now on their platinum plan
and it's more than worth the price for me. PicBackMan has saved me many tedious hours of
effort moving many files between my various cloud and photo site services and my local
computers.

I am very satisfied and surprised at the same time with Pic
BackMan. The service is very good and useful. I used it to transfer my photos from
Dropbox to my Flickr accound. I highly recomment it.

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE
collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan. I uploaded
approximately 85,000 photos in less than a month. It would have taken me close to a year
to get all of those photos where they needed to go. Nothing short of brilliant.
