If you are a Mac or iOS user, all your photos are stored in an iPhoto Library. If you want to move or migrate iPhoto Library to Google Photos, then first download and install "Google Photos Backup" desktop application on your Mac. Once you have installed "Google Photos Backup", it will check the iPhoto Library option by default. Now click "Start backup" button to migrate iPhoto Library to Google Photos.
You have another option to migrate iPhoto Library to Google Photos i.e via Google Drive. To do so, you need to download and install Google Drive Desktop app on your Mac and create a folder on you desktop named "iPhoto Library (Date)". Export your iPhoto Library to your desktop using the folder you have just created. Be sure to choose "Original" file type and "Highest Quality" and include videos. Now drag the folder to your Google Drive desktop sync folder.
