How to Hide Photos and Videos in iPhone or iPad on iOS 8?

If you want keep your photos and videos private, you can hide (but not delete) them on your iOS 8 or later version. iOS 8 allows you to hide photos or videos which you want to keep private. If you select the photo or video and tap 'Hide' button then the photo will be hidden from Moments, Collections and Years, but still visible in Albums. You can easily access your hidden photos and videos whenever you want. You can even share or send them in message. You can not hide photos or videos in a bulk at once. You need to hide each photo or videos individually.

Here are the steps to Hide Photos and Videos in iPhone/iPad on iOS 8 or later:

  1. Launch 'Photos' app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap "Albums or Camera Roll".
  3. Tap and hold on any photo or video which you want to hide.
  4. A "Copy or Hide" pop up menu opens up.
  5. Tap "Hide".
  6. Tap "Hide Photo" or "Hide Video" to confirm it.
