How to Fix "Never" and "iCloud Backup Failed" Issues on iOS?

If you have upgraded to iOS 9 and tap "Backup Now" to backup your data, then you will get the issue to saying that your latest backup is "Never". If you turn Off "iCloud Backup" and then turn it ON again, then you will get "iCloud Backup Failed" issue on your iOS device.

Here are the steps to Fix "Never" and "iCloud Backup Failed" Issues on iOS:

  1. Go to "Settings" on your iOS device.
  2. Tap "iCloud" and tap "Storage".
  3. Tap "Manage Storage" and select your device which you are having issues of backup.
  4. Wiat for the spinning wheel to finish.
  5. Scroll down and tap "Show all apps".
  6. Tap "Delete Backup" button.
  7. Tap "Delete" button to confirm it.
  8. If you get an error message "The backup can't be deleted, try again later" then let it finish loading.
  9. Once you have deleted the backup, go back to iCloud Setting page.
  10. Tap "Backup" tab.
  11. If iCloud Backup is ON, then turn it Off and then turn it ON again.
  12. Go to "Settings".
  13. Tap "iCloud" and make Photos are Off (if you want" or make sure that all the options are Ok.
  14. Go back to Backup page and click "Back up Now".
  15. This way you can fix "Never" and "iCloud Backup Failed" issues on iOS device.
