How to download photos from Google Photos without EXIF data?

If you want to download photos from your Google Photos without retaining the EXIF information/data, you can use Google Takeout to do so. 
  1. Go to https://www.google.com/settings/takeout and login
  2. Click "Select none" then scroll down to "Google photos"
  3. Click on the gray arrow next to "All photo albums"
  4. Choose either "Include all photo albums" or "Select photo albums"
  5. Click into the box (a green check mark will appear)
  6. At the bottom of the page, click "Next"
  7. Choose how you want to get the data ("File type" and "Delivery method"), then click "Create archive"
  8. Selecting albums you can choose which ones to download.
  9. After downloading the .zip file your browser prompts you to save the .zip file. You can also rename the zip at this time
  10. Click "Save" and specify a location to download
  11. Unzip the zip file
  12. In Windows Explorer, right click the zip file, click "Extract All" then "Extract" 
  13. When unzipping is finished, you may delete the zip file
