How to download photo folder from DropBox to computer?

DropBox is a cloud storage & synchronization service by DropBox Inc. DropBox allows you to backup photos, videos & files to access them from anywhere. DropBox offers 2GB free storage space. It is not possible to use the website to download an entire folder which is over 1GB but Dropbox allows you to download the entire photo folder from the Dropbox website. There are two ways to download Dropbox photo folder to your computer; one by using PicBackMan and the other by using the 'Dropbox desktop application'. Following are the steps to download photo folder from DropBox to computer: 

The PicBackMan way:

  1. On Accounts tab associate your Dropbox account.

  2. Go to Migrate tab and click on ‘Choose Account to Migrate’ button. Now select Dropbox from the dropdown list of associated accounts and click save.

  3. In order to download Dropbox photos to your computer, select the check box corresponding to the 'Computer' icon.

  4. Now click ‘Migrate’ button that you see at the bottom of the window.

  5. All your Dropbox photos will now be downloaded to your computer.

Via Dropbox desktop application

  1. Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Navigate to the folder which you want to download.
  3. Click on the empty space to the right of the folder's name to select it. (clicking on the folder name or icon will open the folder instead)
  4. Click "Download" button located at the top of the window.
  5. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click on "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain all the photos from the folder.
  6. Your photo folder will now be downloaded to the computer.
