How to Create a Photobucket Photo Album?

Last Updated :

Photobucket is an image hosting website which allows you to backup photos and video to a personal account and share it with others. You can set privacy settings for your album when you are creating the album. You have 2 options to choose i.e. Public and Private. If you select Public then everyone can access your album. And, if your select Private, then only you can see this album. You can share your Private album later with specific people or groups. When you are updating the privacy settings of your album will only affect the selected album and will not affect any other albums or sub-albums.

Here are the steps to Create a Photobucket Photo Album:

  1. Go to http://photobucket.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Click "Library" tab located at the top left corner of the window.
  3. Select "Create Album" option.
  4. A "Create New Album" window opens up.
  5. Enter Album name, Description, Set privacy settings for album and you can select 'Add this as sub-album to:'.
  6. Click "Create" button.
  7. You have now created a new album. You can now upload photos in it.
You can install PicBackMan's Photobucket uploader for Mac from the website and start backing up photos and videos.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
