OneDrive (formerly known as SkyDrive) allows you to easily backup and share photos, videos, files and important documents to access from anywhere on any device for free. You can automatically backup photos and videos to OneDrive by using 'Camera Backup' feature. It has a 'Camera Backup' feature that allows you to backup photos & videos automatically to your OneDrive account. During the initial setup, OneDrive will prompt you to setup your automatic photo & video backups. Backing up photos from your Android phone to OneDrive is easy. In just few steps you can easily save & backup photos to OneDrive.

Following are the steps to Automatically Backup Photos from Android to OneDrive:


  1. Go to https://onedrive.live.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Download "OneDrive app" on your Android phone from the Play store & launch it.
  3. During the initial setup, OneDrive will prompt you to setup your automatic photo & video backups.
  4. "Turn on Camera Backup" window opens up.
  5. Make sure to select to backup full-resolution photos and videos to OneDrive automatically.
  6. Tap "Turn On" button.
  7. You have another option to automatically backup Android Photos to OneDrive, open "OneDrive app" on your Android phone.
  8. Go to "Settings" and tap "Camera upload" icon.
  9. Move the slider button next to 'Camera Backup' from left to right to turn it ON. Now anything you add in the camera upload folder on your Android phone will be automatically backup up to OneDrive.
