How to Automatically Backup Photos and Videos from iPad to OneDrive?

You can easily auto backup photos and videos to OneDrive that you take on iPad. You need to download and install OneDrive app on your iPad. During the initial setup, it will ask you 'if you would like to automatically backup photos and videos that you take on iPad to OneDrive'. Tap 'Ok' button to turn ON automatic upload. If you ignored to turn it ON during the initial setup, then you can turn it ON from 'Settings'. All the photos and videos will be backed up at their original sizes when you are on a Wi-Fi network.

Here are the steps to Automatically Backup Photos and Videos from iPad to OneDrive:

  1. Go to https://onedrive.live.com & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Download "OneDrive App" on iPad from the Apple App store & launch it.
  3. Tap "OneDrive App" on your iPad.
  4. During the initial setup, OneDrive will prompt you to setup your automatic photo & video backups. Tap "Ok" button.
  5. You have another option to automatically backup iPad photos and videos to OneDrive, open "OneDrive App" on your iPad.
  6. Tap "Settings" button.
  7. Select "Camera Backup" option. Your browser prompts you to allow SkyDrive to access your photos, tap "OK" to allow access.
  8. Move the slider from left to right to turn ON "Camera Backup".
