iMovie is a video program which allows you to upload videos from your video device for video editing purposes. There are 2 types of video devices i.e memory based and tape based. You can upload videos and movies from tape based cameras, flash memory cameras, DVD and hard drive into the iMovie program. It allows you to add effects, captions, music and other features to enhance your video. You can import all of the footage or some of your video footage from your video device into the iMovie program. Learn how to add a video on iMovie, check out the steps below.
Following are the steps to Add a Video on iMovie:
Open your iMovie program.
Choose the project from the "Project Library" located at the upper right corner of the iMovie window to add video in an existing project.
If you would like to create an entirely new project, go to the "File" menu and select "New Project" option.
The iMovie program will prompt you to name your new project and choose an aspect ratio for your movie, either "Widescreen," "iPhone," or "Standard."
Set your camera to the correct mode for video export. This mode setting will typically say "PC" or "Computer."
Connect your video recording device to your computer using USB cable.
Select "Video Import" button located above "Event Library" menu.
A pop up window opens up and you will see all of the footage found on your video device.
Import your video footage into the iMovie project you are editing in.
Select "Import All" option located at the bottom right corner of the video footage screen.
Choose to add the video clip to either an existing iMovie project event or create a new event.
Click "Import" button to import the video footage you have selected.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and
efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job
of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot
of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different
places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out
there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so
much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked -
all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the
process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was
a breeze. Thank you!

I started with the basic plan, went to premium and now on their platinum plan
and it's more than worth the price for me. PicBackMan has saved me many tedious hours of
effort moving many files between my various cloud and photo site services and my local
computers.

I am very satisfied and surprised at the same time with Pic
BackMan. The service is very good and useful. I used it to transfer my photos from
Dropbox to my Flickr accound. I highly recomment it.

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE
collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan. I uploaded
approximately 85,000 photos in less than a month. It would have taken me close to a year
to get all of those photos where they needed to go. Nothing short of brilliant.
