How do I edit SkyDrive photos in Windows 8.1?

SkyDrive or OneDrive is an online cloud storage service provided by Microsoft Corporation. SkyDrive allows you to backup photos, videos & files to cloud storage & access them from anywhere. SkyDrive is deeply integrated into Windows 8.1 with more features like offline file access, file browsing in SkyDrive app etc. SkyDrive for Windows 8.1 has a new feature that allows you to edit photos from the SkyDrive app. But, the photo editing tools offered are basic.

To edit SkyDrive photos in Windows 8.1, open 'SkyDrive app' on your Windows 8.1 & browse photos to edit. Open photos in full size. Either select 'Edit' option located at bottom-right corner of the screen or right-click the photo & select "Edit option. The editing options include Auto fix, Basic fixes, light, effects & color. The feature is pretty good because all the controls are available in the same screen. You can do editing like cropping, resize, rotate and change the brightness & contrast. One of the best feature of SkyDrive photo editing is that you can save the photo online as a copy or update the original photo. This is how you edit SkyDrive photos in Windows 8.1.
