Last Updated :

Photobucket is a popular photo & video hosting website which allows you to backup photos & videos to access them from anywhere on any device. Photobucket offers 2GB of free storage space to all its users. Photobucket stores the original photo/video file taken directly from a computer, mobile phone or camera without compressing or resizing. Photobucket allows you to upload/download videos in .mp4 format only. Photobucket has a video upload limit. Uploading videos upto 10 minutes or less and 500 MB or less is free.

Following are the video file extentions that are supported by Photobucket: .3g2, .3gp, .3gp2, .3gpp, .avi, .divx, .flv, .gif, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg4, .mpg4, .mpeg, .mpg, .m4v & .wmv

All video files are converted to .mp4 format after uploading. Currently, Photobucket is not supporting .tif, .tiff, .raw and .swf file types. If you have a media file which is not supported by Photobucket, then you can use video editor & try to convert it into a supported file type.

You can install PicBackMan's Photobucket uploader for Mac from the website and start backing up photos and videos.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
