How to view captions at Album Archive?

Last Updated :

If you have photos or videos in a Picasa Web Album today, the easiest way to still access, modify and share most of that content is to log in to Google Photos, and all your photos and videos will already be there. But, if in case, you do not want to use Google Photos, or you still want to be able to view specific content, such as tags, captions or comments, you can do that from the album archive page for Picasa Web Albums. It is called Album Archive (https://get.google.com/albumarchive). You can view, download, or delete your Picasa Web Albums data on this page.

To view captions at Album Archive, do the following:
  1. Go to Album Archive: https://get.google.com/albumarchive
  2. Click into an album
  3. Click a photo
  4. Click the "i" (Details) icon
  5. The Info panel opens up on the right side
  6. The Info panel closes automatically when you leave the album and you need to click "i" again when viewing another album

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
