How to Transfer Videos from iPhone to PC using Email?

Last Updated :

Attaching a short length Video to your mail can help you transfer your Video from iPhone to your PC and vice-versa. The only requirement is Internet connection and you obviously must have a mail Id. Its as simple as composing a mail, attaching a video and sending it to yourself.
Follow the simple steps given below:

  1. Login to your mail account from your Mail App and click on ‘Compose’. You have to write your own Email Id in the ‘Recipient’ column because you are sending the mail to yourself.
  2. Tap on the body of the message where you want to place the Video. Then tap the cursor to find some options.
  3. The options are ‘Select’, ‘Select All’, and ‘Paste’. The forth column shows an arrow. Tap the arrow to find some more options. Select the ‘Insert Photo or Video’ option.
  4. This would open the ‘Photo and Video Albums’.
  5. Now browse for the Video you want, and select it by clicking the ‘Choose’ option in the right bottom corner. This would add the Video to your Mail. Now hit ‘Send’. The Mail would be sent.
  6. Now from your Windows PC go to your Email account and download the Video you sent to yourself. Hence your iPhone Video is now on your Windows computer.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
