How to Setup iCloud Photo Stream on Your Mac?

In order to access photos across all your devices, you will need to setup iCloud Photo Stream on your computer. If you are using Mac computer, then you don't need an extra software to handle iCloud settings. You can follow the steps given below to setup iCloud Photo Stream on your Mac.

Here are the steps to Setup iCloud Photo Stream on Your Mac:

  1. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Click on the "Apple" menu located at the top left corner.
  3. Open "System Preferences".
  4. Click on "iCloud".
  5. You will see list of applications.
  6. Check mark "Photo Stream".
  7. Click "Options" button located at the right side of the Photo Stream.
  8. Check mark "My Photo Stream" and "Automatic Import" options.
  9. Now you will need to configure iPhoto to fetch all photos from Photo Stream.
  10. Open "iPhoto" on your Mac.
  11. Click "Preferences" option.
  12. Select the "Photo Stream" tab.
  13. Check mark or enable "My Photo Stream".
  14. This is how you can setup iCloud Photo Stream on your Mac.
