How to Setup iCloud on All iOS Devices?

Last Updated :

Before we begin to setup iCloud on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, make sure that they are running iOS 5.1 or a later version.

  1. To check which version is your device running or to update your current iOS version go to the Settings menu, tap General, and tap Software Update to see if there’s an update available.
  2. When you turn on a new iOS device or once you complete the software update to the latest iOS version, follow the instructions and activate your device and set up iCloud.
  3. If by any chance you skipped the setup, you can still configure iCloud: Just  tap the Settings icon on the Home screen, select iCloud, then enter your Apple ID.
  4. Now, if you wish to enable automatic downloads for your music, apps, and books, just tap the Settings icon on the Home screen and select iTunes & App Stores.
  5. Similarly you can setup iCloud on other iOS devices too.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
