How to remove old iCloud photo backup from iOS device?

To remove any old iCloud backup, you just need to delete the entire iCloud backup on the iOS device. Here's how you can remove it:

  1. On an iOS 8 device, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage, then tap Manage Storage
  2. And if you are using an iOS 7 device, then go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage.
  3. Then just tap the name of the device whose backup need to delete, and tap Delete Backup.
