How to Backup Photos from Dropbox to Photos app on Mac?

You can easily backup photos from Dropbox to Apple Photos app on Mac. First download and install "Dropbox Desktop Application" on your Mac. It will create a dedicated folder on your Mac that is called as "Dropbox" folder. To backup photos from Dropbox to Photos app, open "Photos" app and click "File" menu and then select "Import" option. You will see Dropbox folder located at the side bar. Select the photos and click "Review for Import" button.

Here are the steps to Backup Photos from Dropbox to Photos app on Mac:

  1. Download and install "Dropbox Desktop Application" on your Mac.
  2. Open "Photos" app on Mac.
  3. Click "File" menu.
  4. Select "Import" option.
  5. Click "Photos" tab.
  6. Click "Dropbox" folder and select the photos which you want to backup.
  7. Click "Review for Import" button.
  8. If you want to backup few photos, then select the photos and click "Import Selected" button.
  9. If you want to backup all photos, then select all the photos and click "Import All New Photos" button.
  10. All your Dropbox photos will now be backed up to Photos app on Mac.
