How to Backup Box Videos to Dropbox on Android?

Box Inc. (formerly Box.net) is a cloud storage & file sharing service that can be used to backup photos & videos. It allows you to upload, download, browse & move all of your photos & videos to access them from anywhere. Box allows you to store all kinds of files i.e. photos, videos, presentations, school papers, spreadsheets & much more. It also allows you to create a link of large photo/video files & folders and share it with your family & friends. Box offers 10 GB of free storage space for personal account.

Following are the steps to Backup Box Videos to Dropbox on Android:


  1. Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Download "Dropbox App" on your Android phone from the Play store & launch it.
  3. Go to https://www.box.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  4. If you have "Box app" installed on your Android phone, launch it. Or else download it from the Google Play store.
  5. Tap "Box app" on your Android phone.
  6. You will see all your photos & videos.
  7. Select the videos which you want to backup.
  8. Tap "Share" button located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
  9. A "Share" window opens up.
  10. Tap "Send link" button.
  11. You will see list of applications. Select "Dropbox" option.
  12. Choose a location & tap "Add" button.
  13. Enter the new file name & tap "Ok" button.
  14. All your videos will now be backed up to Dropbox.
