How to Add Photos and Videos to Albums in Photos for OS X?

If you have lot of photos and videos on your Mac, then you can add them to albums in Photos app for OS X and organize them well. While adding photos and videos to albums in Photos app for OS X, you can either choose an existing album or create a new album in the "Albums" section. To create a new album, you can right-click anywhere in the main windows and choose "New Album" button.

Following are the steps to Add Photos and Videos to Albums in Photos for OS X:

  1. Open "Photos" app on your Mac.
  2. Click "Albums" tab located at the top.
  3. Click "All Photos" button.
  4. Select the photos or videos which you want to add to album.
  5. Click "Add" button i.e "+" sign located at the top on the screen.
  6. Click "Albums".
  7. A pop up menu opens up. Choose an existing album to add photos and name it.
  8. Click "Ok" button.
  9. You photos or videos will now be added to albums in Photos for OS X.
