How to Access iCloud Photo Sharing on iPhone and iPad?

Last Updated :

iCloud Photo Sharing allows you to share Photo Streams with family and friends. If you want to view shared Photo Streams on your iPhone or iPad, then open "Photos" app and tap "Shared" located at the bottom on the screen. Tap "Sharing" located at the top left corner on the screen to get to the main view. If you don't see a "Shared" tab, then you will need to turn ON shared Photo Streams on your iPhone or iPad.

To turn ON "iCloud Photo Sharing" on your iPhone or iPad, tap "Settings" and then tap "Photos & Camera". Move slider from left to right to turn ON "iCloud Photo Sharing". Now open "Photos" app and you will see the "Shared" tab in the app's navigation menu between the "Photos" and "Albums" tab.

By default, you will view the "Activity" stream in Photos app when you open the "Shared" tab. Here you can view all your created shared streams and the streams that you have invited to.

If you want to get the full list of all your shared Photo Streams, then tap "Sharing" button located at the top left corner on the screen.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
