How to Move Photos from Flickr to Box?

Box Inc. is a personal cloud content management service where you can backup photos, videos & files to cloud & access them from anywhere. It allows you to view all kinds of file types i.e photos, videos, Word, Excel, EPS, PSD, PDF and more. Flickr is a photo and video hosting service which allows you to backup photos & videos, also organize, edit and share them with others. Flickr does not support other file types such as Word, Excel, EPS, PSD and PDF. It allows you to upload photos and videos to share them with family and friends. Here are the steps to Move Photos from Flickr to Box:

  1. Go to https://www.flickr.com/ & sign in to your account.
  2. Click "You" button located at the top of the window.
  3. You will see all your photos & videos.
  4. Click the photo, you will see it in full size.
  5. Click "..." (3 horizontal dots) located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  6. Select "View All sizes" option.
  7. Choose the size which you want to download and then click the link in the 'Download' section.
  8. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain the photo from the Flickr.
  9. Your photos will now be downloaded to computer.
  10. Go to https://www.box.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  11. Click "New..." button located at left side of the window.
  12. Select "New Folder" option. Specify a folder name for your photo album.
  13. Click "Okay" button.
  14. Click on the folder you created. You will see an empty folder at the moment. It is because you haven't uploaded anything here yet.
  15. Click "Upload" button located left side of the screen to upload photos to this folder.
  16. Select "Upload File" option.
  17. A "File upload" window opens up. Browse & select photos which you want to upload.
  18. Once your files are successfully uploaded, you will be prompted with a message that says "Upload complete".
  19. You have another option to upload the photos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your photos directly from your computer to a location in your Box account.
  20. This is how you can move photos from Flickr to Box.
