How to Move Photos from Amazon S3 to Picasa Web on Mac?

Picasa Web Albums is a fast and easy photo sharing service provided by Google Inc. You can easily share photos and albums using Picasa Web Albums or Picasa. It allows you to control who can see your photo and video albums. You can also share links of specific photos or albums with others. Moving photos from Amazon S3 to Picasa Web is easy.  Following is the step by step process to move your Amazon S3 photos to Picaca :

Following are the steps to Move Photos from Amazon S3 to Picasa Web on Mac:

  1. Download and install "S3 Browser" on your Mac.
  2. Start "S3 Browser" on your Mac.
  3. Click "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select "Add new account" option.
  5. Enter Account name, Access Key ID, Secret Access key and click "Add New account" button.
  6. You will see list of all your buckets located at the left side of the window.
  7. Click on the bucket, you will see list of all photos and videos from the bucket.
  8. Select the photos that you want to move.
  9. Click "Download" button.
  10. A "Browse for folder" window opens up.
  11. Create new folder or choose a folder to download photos.
  12. Click "Ok" button.
  13. All your photos will now be downloaded to Mac.
  14. Go to https://picasaweb.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
  15. Click "Upload" button located at top of the window.
  16. A pop-up window "Upload Photos and Videos" opens up.
  17. You will see 2 options, "Create a new album" or "Add to an existing album".
  18. Select any one of the above 2 options.
  19. Click "Select photos from your computer".
  20. A "File upload" window opens up. Browse & select photos which you want to upload.
  21. Click "Ok" button or if you want upload more photos then click "Upload more" button located at bottom right of the window.
  22. You have another option to upload the photos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your photos directly from your computer to a location in your Picasa web account.
