How to download iCloud photos to PC?

If you are thinking of downloading all the photos on iCloud to your PC, as an additional backup, or to clear up storage space on your iCloud Account and for any other reason, you can do that with "iCloud for Windows". Downloading your iCloud photos to a Windows  PC is easy if you have iCloud for Windows up and running on your computer. Here's how you go about it:

Via iCloud for Windows
  1. Download "iCloud for Windows" on your computer & launch it.
  2. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ & sign in to your account.
  3. Once you have signed in to your iCloud account, click "Photo Stream".
  4. Click "Options" button, you will see 2 options "Download folder" and "Upload folder".
  5. Click "Ok" button.
  6. Click "Apply" button and then "Close" button to close the window.
  7. Click on the Windows start button.
  8. Click "Pictures" from the Windows start menu.
  9. Locate the "Photostream" folder and open it.
  10. You will see two folders "My Photo Stream" and "Uploads".
  11. Click "Photo Stream" folder to see your photos stored on iCloud.
  12. Select the photos which you want to download.
  13. Copy those photos and paste them on your desktop.
  14. This is how you can download photos from iCloud to your computer.
